State leadership, direction and technical assistance are provided by FCS State Staff who are employees of the California Department of Education. Three consultants are available to assist teachers, administrators, counselors and business/industry representatives with Family and Consumer Sciences program improvement, expansion and/or establishment as well as with the co-curricular FCCLA Student Leadership and Career Development activities.  These consultants provide services both statewide and regionally.
